Galbert Paris® is a brand of sleep solutions for children, operated by Visual Freedoms LLC. We act as the data controller of your data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. The data we collect and why

We collect different information depending on how you interact with us.

  • To process your order:

    • Data: Name, surname, delivery address, email address, order details, payment information.

    • Purpose: To register you as a customer, prepare and ship your order, and keep you informed of its status.

  • To assist you (Customer Service):

    • Data: Name, email, order history and message content.

    • Purpose: To answer your questions, resolve any problems and offer you the best possible support.

  • To keep you informed (Marketing & Newsletter):

    • Data: Email address, first name, purchase history.

    • Purpose: With your explicit consent, to send you our newsletter, special offers and information about our new products.

We do not intentionally collect data from individuals under the age of 16 without parental consent.

3. With whom do we share your data?

We only share your data when it is essential to serve you. Our partners are bound by the same confidentiality standards as we are.

  • Payment services (Stripe, PayPal, Shop pay etc) to process your purchase securely.

  • Delivery services to get your package to your door.

  • Marketing tools (emailing platforms) to send you our newsletter, if you have consented.

If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards (compliant with the GDPR) are in place to protect it.

4. Data retention period

We only keep your data for as long as necessary:

  • Order data: 2 years after your last purchase to ensure follow-up and customer service.

  • Marketing data (Newsletter): Until you unsubscribe (a link is available in each email).

  • Some data may be kept for longer periods to comply with our legal obligations (for example, 7 years for invoices).
