Shipping policy

Every Galbert Paris creation is made by hand. Nothing is pulled from a shelf.

1. Production Time

Production begins the day your order is confirmed.

  • Catalog creations: approximately 10 business days, during which every detail is executed with the utmost care.

  • Bespoke commissions: 3 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the pattern and the leather selected.

Once completed, your creation is checked, signed, and prepared for shipment. All orders ship from Paris, France (Galbert Paris, 25 Rue Marbeuf, 75008 Paris).

2. Shipping and Delivery

We ship from Paris to 58 countries and territories in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. Once your creation has shipped, delivery takes 5 to 9 business days on average, depending on the destination country. In total, allow about 15 to 19 business days between your order and its delivery for a catalog creation.

  • Standard delivery (UPS): free, with no minimum purchase, in every country we deliver to except Andorra, Argentina, Azerbaijan, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Kazakhstan, Macao, Peru and Taiwan, where we ship by express only.

  • Express delivery (DHL Express): charged below a threshold and free above it, in the currency of each country, as listed below.

  • United States, Argentina, Kuwait: 60 USD below 1,000 USD, free from 1,000 USD.

  • France (including Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion and Mayotte), Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain: 50 EUR below 890 EUR, free from 890 EUR.

  • United Kingdom: 38 GBP below 760 GBP, free from 760 GBP.

  • Switzerland: 51 CHF below 845 CHF, free from 845 CHF.

  • Norway: 580 NOK below 9,680 NOK, free from 9,680 NOK.

  • Canada: 70 CAD below 1,420 CAD, free from 1,420 CAD.

  • Australia: 80 AUD below 1,430 AUD, free from 1,430 AUD.

  • Japan: 9,600 JPY below 161,000 JPY, free from 161,000 JPY.

  • South Korea: 82,000 KRW below 1,360,000 KRW, free from 1,360,000 KRW.

In the following countries, the rate is set in US dollars or in euros and converted at checkout at the day's rate. The amounts below are therefore approximate.

  • Denmark: about 375 DKK below 6,650 DKK.

  • Poland: about 220 PLN below 3,890 PLN.

  • Czechia: about 1,220 CZK below 21,650 CZK.

  • Hungary: about 18,200 HUF below 324,000 HUF.

  • Azerbaijan: about 104 AZN below 1,725 AZN.

  • Bahamas: about 61 BSD below 1,015 BSD.

  • Bermuda: about 61 BMD below 1,015 BMD.

  • Cayman Islands: about 51 KYD below 845 KYD.

Above these thresholds, express delivery is free.

Some creations cannot be delivered to certain destinations because of local regulations: python and fur creations, for example, cannot be shipped to California. These restrictions are applied automatically at checkout.

Duties and taxes: within the European Union, no customs duties apply. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes are included in the price shown, and nothing is due on delivery. For the French overseas departments, dock dues (octroi de mer) and local VAT are payable by the recipient on delivery.

3. Tracking and Insurance

Every package ships with real-time tracking and full insurance.

4. Exotic Leathers and CITES

Our exotic leathers (crocodile, python, ostrich, pirarucu) are sourced and traded in accordance with the CITES convention. Each exotic leather creation ships with its CITES documentation.

5. Returns and Exchanges

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange.

Return conditions: creations must be returned in their original condition, unworn, with their complete packaging. All returns are sent to Galbert Paris, 25 Rue Marbeuf, 75008 Paris, France, at the customer's expense.
