Frequently asked questions
Everything about ordering, delivery, returns, sizing, bespoke commissions and the care of your creation. If your question is not answered here, write to contact@galbertparis.com or reach us on WhatsApp.
Orders and payment
Prices are shown in the currency of your delivery country, and you pay in that same currency. You can change the country at the top of the page.
Within the European Union, no customs duties apply. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes are included in the price shown, and nothing is due on delivery. For the French overseas departments, dock dues (octroi de mer) and local VAT are payable by the recipient on delivery.
By credit card or by any other payment method shown at checkout. Payments are secure, and payment is taken when you place your order.
Your order is final once full payment is received and you receive our confirmation email. Production of your creation begins that same day.
Shipping and delivery
We ship from Paris to 59 countries and territories in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, with UPS OnExpress or DHL Express depending on the destination. The full list of countries, with the delivery rates for each one, is in our Shipping Policy.
Standard delivery by UPS is free, with no minimum purchase, in almost every country we ship to. Express delivery by DHL is free from 1,000 USD or the equivalent in your currency, for example 890 EUR, 760 GBP or 1,420 CAD. Below that amount, the express rate is shown at checkout before payment. The rates for each country are listed in our Shipping Policy.
About 10 business days to make your creation, then 5 to 9 business days of delivery depending on the destination country, so about 15 to 19 business days in total. A bespoke commission takes 3 to 8 weeks to make.
Yes. A tracking link is sent as soon as your creation ships. Every package travels with real-time tracking and full insurance.
Some creations cannot be delivered to certain destinations because of local regulations: python and fur creations, for example, cannot be shipped to California. These restrictions are applied automatically at checkout.
Yes. Our exotic leathers (crocodile, python, ostrich, pirarucu) are sourced and traded in accordance with the CITES convention, and each exotic leather creation ships with its CITES documentation.
Returns, exchanges and warranty
Yes, within 14 days of receipt. The creation must come back unworn, in its original condition, with its complete packaging. Write to contact@galbertparis.com with your order number and you will receive the return instructions. Returns sent without a prior request are not accepted. All details are in our Refund Policy.
Return shipping is at the customer's expense, and no restocking fee is charged. All returns are sent to Galbert Paris, 25 Rue Marbeuf, 75008 Paris, France. From outside the European Union, the return is an international shipment to France, and any customs formalities or fees on that shipment are at the customer's expense. We recommend a tracked and insured service.
Once your return is received and inspected, we confirm the approval of your refund. It is then issued to your original payment method within 10 business days; your bank may take a few more days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, write to us.
Gift cards, final sale items and bespoke commissions made to your measurements cannot be returned.
Please inspect your order on receipt and contact us right away if it is defective, damaged or not the creation you ordered. We will assess the problem and find a solution quickly.
Every creation is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage or damage caused by improper care. Beyond the warranty, for the life of each creation, the atelier offers to restore the creations it made, including from normal wear: write to contact@galbertparis.com. The scope, timing and any cost are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Yes. Every creation is cut, assembled and finished by hand in Paris, in the atelier of Théo Galbert. Skins, silks and crystals are selected one by one.

Himalayan is a finish dyed on Nile crocodile skin, which gives the scales a natural gradient from light to darker tones. It is a finish, not a separate species, and like all our crocodile it ships with its CITES documentation.
Sizing
Our garments follow standard sizes, detailed in the size guide on each product page. We recommend choosing one size up for a more comfortable fit.
Our shoes come in sizes 40 to 45, European sizing. The measurements are in the size guide on each product page. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one.

3 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the pattern and the leather selected. Like every Galbert Paris creation, it is signed and comes with its certificate of authenticity. As a bespoke creation, it is also numbered.
It depends on the creation, the leather selected and the complexity of the pattern. Every commission is quoted individually before work begins.
Yes. For the most demanding commissions, Théo Galbert receives you himself, by appointment at our Paris boutique, 25 Rue Marbeuf, 75008 Paris.
Care
Crocodile, python, ostrich and pirarucu never take water, soap or household products. At home, simply remove dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth; for anything more, entrust the creation to an exotic leather specialist, or write to us. Do not wash, iron or dry clean it. All our advice is on the Care Tips page.
Let it air dry at room temperature. Never use a hair dryer, a radiator or direct sunlight, as too much heat dries the leather and makes it crack. Do not rub a water stain, it will spread.
In a room between 15 and 22 °C (59 to 72 °F), at 40 to 55 % humidity, away from direct light. Hang a jacket on a wide wooden or padded hanger, zips closed, in a breathable garment bag, never plastic. Store a bag upright, filled with acid-free tissue paper to keep its shape.
