The Goldstein - Bomber Portrait in Python and Lambskin Leather
A portrait on the back of a bomber, worked in python and lambskin. The two leathers are cut to the lines of the face, the python for the planes that catch light and the lambskin for the ones that recede, and assembled so the image reads from across a room and dissolves into texture up close. The python is smooth and cool, the lambskin soft and warm, and the seams between them are the drawing. Made with the artist Dorina Svet.
