The Phoenix - Embroidered Jacquard Fabric Bomber Jacket with Phoenix Motif
The bird is already in the cloth. The jacquard is woven with the phoenix inside it, feather by feather, so the motif exists in the weave before a single stitch is added, and the embroidery works on top of what is there. It follows the feathers in the fabric, the gold and silver crystals are set one at a time along the lines where light will travel, and the wing opens across the shoulder as the jacket moves. Under a lamp, the whole back catches at once.
