The Chiaroscuro - Cashmere and Python Jacket
Black cashmere against black python, the one soft and matte, the other smooth and faintly glossed. The python is set in panels where the hand falls and the eye follows, at the shoulder and down the front, and the cashmere carries the rest. The contrast is entirely in the touch: the cloth gives, the skin does not. In low light the jacket reads as one black; in daylight the scales surface and the cashmere recedes.
