Smooth black leather on the outside, dense shearling within. The Boreal is cut structured and protective, so the leather holds a clean line across the chest while the wool inside does the work of warmth, and kept sleeveless so it layers without weight. The leather is cool and smooth under the hand; the shearling at the collar and the edges is thick and soft. A vest that reads as leather and feels as fur.
